Barrel Tasting Tours!

Grape Creek Vineyards' cellar was the first underground, commercial wine cellar in Central Texas.  Our upper barrel room and cellar provide stable temperature and humidity levels that enhance the aging of our wines.  We use French Oak, different types of American Oak and combination  barrels at Grape Creek and we believe using a diversity of barrel types adds complexity and nuanced characteristics to our red wines.

All aboard the Grape Creek tram for a short ride to our newly constructed, state-of-the-art production complex. After a scenic ride through the vines, your first stop is at our crush pad and tank room to see where it all happens! Next visit our barrel room and cellar, after a quick stop at our vintage wine library, to enjoy an opportunity to taste and contrast the flavors and aromas of wine aging in three different oak barrels. This is a unique experience you will not want to miss.  We conduct regularly scheduled tours and we will schedule a tour upon request most other times (staff permitting).  The barrel tour is $20 per person and includes a Grape Creek Vineyards wine glass.
